Voodoo Ride is an automotive car care brand that produces car cleaning products with a goal to simplify the auto detailing process. Products include soaps, cleaners, protectants, and cleaning accessories. Voodoo Ride has a strong following in grassroots motorsports and drifting competitions such as the globally-recognized Formula Drift.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Voodoo Ride wanted to redesign their brand store and product content to show the brand’s fun and high-quality car care products. The newly designed brand content encompasses the vibrant colors used in its retail packaging and promotional materials. During this project, I worked closely with the brand’s Product Manager, marketing team, and our Amazon strategist.

  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ content approaches

  • Adapt the new branding of Voodoo Ride’s product line into visual content on various customer touchpoints and shopping journey

  • Gather customer shopping behavior data to assist in the layout design process of the new brand store so that it is easy to navigate and browse

  • Maintain brand consistency throughout the implementation of multiple design initiatives (packaging, social media, product label) by ensuring all product detail page content is aligned to the new brand style guide

    Consumers are able to experience the vibrant Voodoo Ride colors through playful product detail page image designs and colorful brand store pages

    Engagement with the Gallery page which includes lifestyle shots increases exposure of the brand's lifestyle to help in building customer loyalty

  • Shopping Journey

    Adding an extra subcategory (ex: Accessories > Exterior Accessories) encouraged visitors to scroll down, and contributed to the increase in visitor stay duration by 203%

  • Traffic

    Page view count increased indicating visitors browse the store more, with organic traffic increasing by 204%
