LASD CLASS 444 COLORS RUN
A "Colors Run" is an annual event in which each graduating academy class participates, dedicating the run to a fallen officer from across the nation. This event fosters unity and pride among recruits while marking the moment they earn their Sheriff patches, which they proudly wear on their uniforms.
The LA Sheriff Department's Class 444 took part in the Colors Run, dedicating it to fallen officer Michael Lee Hoenig. In preparation for the event, I developed several design concepts, one of which was chosen and printed on shirts worn by recruits, their families, and friends during the run in Santa Monica on January 25, 2020.
